This concert outlines the borders of Europe. Where is Iceland? Is Ukraine part of Europe? We will also explore the limits of virtuosity as Antti Tikkanen and Minna Pensola take on Ysaÿe’s sonata for two violins. Bacewicz’s string quartet, meanwhile, pushes entertainment to its extremes.

There is no parking area or toilets at the venue. Cars can be left at the Pohjois-Ii School parking lot, and toilets are available in the school (Virkkulantie 27, about 600 metres from the venue). Please note that the space may be cool in cold weather.
