Oulunsalo Soi aims to ensure that everyone can attend the festival’s concerts with as few accessibility barriers as possible. The following information is intended to help visitors prepare for arriving at the concert venues and moving around within them.
Personal assistants and escorts may attend the concerts free of charge. Assistant tickets can only be obtained through ticket outlets.

Arrival:
There are four parking spaces for people with reduced mobility located outdoors, more than 10 meters from the entrance. The route to the entrance is flat, sufficiently wide, and well-lit.
Entrance and Movement within the Building:
The entrance is clearly distinguishable and well-lit. There is enough free space outside the door for easy movement, e.g., with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
WC:
The library has an accessible toilet on the same floor as the service point.
There is no induction loop available at Oulunsalo Library.

LÄÄNINHALLITUSTALON VALKOINEN SALI
Arrival:
There is one parking space for people with reduced mobility located behind the Government Office Building. The route to the entrance is flat.
Entrance and Movement within the Building:
The main entrance and the concert hall are accessible via stairs. An accessible entrance is located at the back of the Läänihallitustalo. There is a phone number for the caretaker on the door—calling the number will bring someone to open the door. The concert hall is on the second floor and can be reached by elevator. There is a threshold of approximately 1.5 cm at the entrance to the concert hall.
WC:
An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor of the building and can be reached by elevator.
There is no induction loop available in the Valkoinen sali.
Arrival:
The concert venue does not have its own parking area, but drop-off traffic can reach close to the venue. Parking is available at the yard of Pohjois-Ii School (Virkkulantie 27), approximately 650 meters from Kuivuri.
Entrance and Movement within the Building:
Akolan Kuivuri is located at the intersection of Virkkulantie 88 and Akolankuja. There is a threshold at the entrance.
WC:
There is no accessible toilet on the premises.
There is no induction loop available at Akolan Kuivuri.
Arrival:
The theatre does not have its own parking area. The nearest parking facilities are Kivisydän and Autoranta. Parking is subject to a fee. Due to renovations, accessible parking spaces are currently unavailable.
Drop-off traffic can access the area directly in front of the theatre.
Entrance and movement within the building:
Access to the Theatre Restaurant is via the right-hand side of the building, on the Pikisaari side. The door does not open automatically. The Theatre Restaurant is located on floor A, which is accessible by elevator.
An electronically operated door with a push button is located at the main entrance on the left side of the building (the market square side), and it is in use.
WC:
An accessible toilet is located on the 1st floor and is reachable by elevator.
There is no induction loop system in Theatre Restaurant Aulis.

RESTAURANT PALJETTI AT CULTURAL CENTRE VALVE
Arrival:
Due to nearby construction work in the same block, Valve does not have designated customer parking. Drop-off traffic can stop in front of Hallituskatu.
There are two parking spaces for people with reduced mobility on the Ojakatu side, but the door on that side is not automatic.
Entrance and Movement within the Building:
There is step-free access to Valve from the Hallituskatu entrance, where the automatic doors open via a motion sensor. There is no audio beacon at the entrance. The route to Restaurant Paljetti is accessible. The height of the coat racks at the edges of the foyer near Valvesali is 120 cm.
WC:
An accessible toilet is located in the basement, which can be reached by elevator. The elevator dimensions are 1440 mm x 1100 mm. The WC door is locked, but the caretaker will open it upon request.
There is no induction loop available at Restaurant Paljetti.

RIOLIVE
Arrival:
The nearest parking spaces are located on Kirkkokatu and Isokatu. There are no designated parking spots for people with reduced mobility in the area. The route to the entrance is flat.

The entrance to the building is located on the Snellman Park side. There are stairs leading to the concert venue’s lobby and performance space. There is no elevator in the building. The audience seating is tiered. The concert space is dimly lit.
WC:
There is no accessible toilet in the venue.
There is no induction loop available at RioLive.

The only accessible parking space is located outdoors, less than 10 meters from the entrance. The parking space is at least 3.6 meters wide. A drop-off area is available near the entrance (within 5 meters), with a smooth route to the doorway.
Entrance and Movement within the Building:
The accessible entrance is located on the Hallituskatu side of City Hall. There is a push button to open the door. If the door does not open, a buzzer at the entrance can be used to contact the information desk, which will open the door. Instructions for using the accessible entrance are posted at the door in Finnish, English, and Braille. An audio beacon also helps guide visitors to the entrance.
WC:
Accessible toilets are available on the ground floor and first floor. The toilet doors are not automatic.
The City Hall Banquet Hall is equipped with an induction loop.

The nearest accessible parking spaces are located near the Art Museum, approximately 100 meters from the summer theatre. Parking is not allowed directly next to the theatre, but drop-off and pick-up can usually be arranged via pedestrian paths, provided pedestrian traffic is respected and caution is exercised. It is recommended to discuss this in advance with the event organizer.
Entrance and Movement within the Area:
A limited number of wheelchair spaces are available in the theatre audience area. Wheelchairs are placed in front of the first row.
WC:
The Open-Air Theatre has an accessible toilet.
There is no induction loop available in the audience area of the Hupisaari Open-Air Theatre.

OULUN TYÖVÄEN PURSISEURAN PUUVENEHALLI (Wooden Boat Hall)
Arrival:
The nearest parking area is located in front of Restaurant Seelari, approximately 10 meters from the concert venue.
Entrance and Movement within the Building:
The entrance to the Wooden Boat Hall has a wide doorway. The route to the entrance is flat. Access to Restaurant Seelari and its back terrace is via a ramp.
WC:
An accessible toilet is located near the entrance to the Wooden Boat Hall, on the left-hand side, with access from outside. The toilet facilities at Restaurant Seelari are not accessible.
There is no induction loop available at the Wooden Boat Hall.
Arrival:
Tuba does not have its own parking area, but drop-off traffic can get close to the entrance.
Entrance and Movement within the Building:
There is accessible access to the venue (small threshold). The door does not open automatically. There are many table groups inside, but the counter is accessible from the entrance. The counter is high.
WC:
There is an accessible toilet in the venue.
There is no induction loop available at Tuba.
