Jenni Räinä is a writer from Oulu who has written about forests in her works Veden ajat and Kulkijat, as well as in the collaborative nonfiction book Metsä meidän jälkeemme. In August, Räinä’s second novel Vaino will be published, taking readers through the ancient primeval forests of the North.
