Oulunsalo Soi welcomed approximately 1,150 visitors from 5\u20139 August, the festival\u2019s largest audience in nearly a decade. Two of the concerts sold out. This year\u2019s programme focused on the theme of Europe, with works from nearly 30 different countries featured in the concerts. <\/p>\n\n
\u201cBased on the journey we have taken, we can conclude that the umbrella of European music encompasses an astonishingly diverse range of styles. Perhaps what is needed to hold a united Europe together is precisely the fact that everyone cherishes their own (musical) culture.
